ongooo is a school management platform operated by Ongororo Technologies. Our registered contact address is hello@ongororo.com.
2. What we collect
We collect information you give us directly when you:
- Register your school (school name, contact details, administrator email)
- Add students, guardians, or staff (names, contact numbers, class assignments)
- Join our waitlist (name, email, school name, role)
- Contact us by email
We also collect usage data automatically: pages visited, browser type, and IP address.
3. How we use your information
- To provide and improve the ongooo service
- To send fee reminders, attendance updates, and reports to parents via WhatsApp (only with school authorisation)
- To contact you about your account or waitlist position
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (e.g. hosting, communication APIs), under strict confidentiality agreements.
5. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your school account is active, or as required by law. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email us at hello@ongororo.com and we will respond within 14 days.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies only (session, security). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. If changes are material we will notify account holders by email before they take effect.
