Privacy Policy

ongooo is a school management platform operated by Ongororo Technologies. Our registered contact address is hello@ongororo.com.

We collect information you give us directly when you:

• Register your school (school name, contact details, administrator email)
• Add students, guardians, or staff (names, contact numbers, class assignments)
• Join our waitlist (name, email, school name, role)
• Register interest in AI learning opportunities on our Partners page (name, email, role, and optionally your school or organisation and WhatsApp number, plus the permissions you tick and when)
• Send us a partnership enquiry (name, organisation, email, and your message)
• Contact us by email

We also collect usage data automatically: pages visited, browser type, and IP address.

• To provide and improve the ongooo service
• To send fee reminders, attendance updates, and reports to parents via WhatsApp (only with school authorisation)
• To contact you about your account or waitlist position
• To contact you about AI learning opportunities you registered interest in, if you gave us permission to
• To reply to partnership enquiries
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, under strict confidentiality agreements. These include Vercel (website hosting), Upstash (storage of Partners page submissions) and Loops (email).

If you register interest in AI learning and tick the box allowing it, we may share your name, email and role with our education partner Cyberiad Labs to coordinate course registration. If you don't tick it, we don't share your details with Cyberiad Labs. Partnership enquiries are not shared with partners.

We do not add AI learning or partnership submissions to our marketing or waitlist emails.

We keep school account data for as long as your school account is active, or as required by law.

We keep AI learning interest registrations and partnership enquiries for 12 months from when you send them, then delete them.

You may request deletion at any time by emailing us.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can also withdraw permission for us to contact you, or to share your details with Cyberiad Labs, at any time. Email us at hello@ongororo.com and we will respond within 14 days.

We use essential cookies only (session, security). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We may update this policy. If changes are material we will notify account holders by email before they take effect.
